Plainfield teen charged with attempted murder in shooting that injured boys

A 17-year-old Plainfield youth has been arrested on two counts of attempted murder in connection with the Halloween shooting that left two Plainfield boys injured, one of them an 11-year-old. Somerset County Prosecutor Wayne J. Forrest said the teenager is being held at the Middlesex County Juvenile Detention Center.
